Who we are
This website (niallsheffield.co.uk) is the personal photography portfolio of Niall Sheffield, based in Surrey, United Kingdom.
What we collect, and why
Contact form. When you send a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use this only to read and reply to your enquiry.
Analytics. We use privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. This information is aggregated, does not identify you, and does not rely on tracking cookies.
Server logs. Like most websites, our host keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Essential cookies are only set if you log in to the website’s admin area, which does not apply to ordinary visitors.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or trade your personal information. It is handled only by the service providers needed to run the site — our web hosting and email provider (Hostinger) — and contact-form messages are delivered to our own inbox.
How long we keep it
Contact enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain our correspondence, and are deleted when no longer required. Analytics data is aggregate and kept to understand trends over time.
